How can you help at home? Count objects around the house (up to 30). Grammar: Nouns How can you help at home? When reading at night, ask your student what was the noun in a sentence. Was is a person? A place? A thing? An animal? An idea? Also identify singular and plural nouns. Math: 2D Shapes How can you help at home? Go on a shape hunt at home. Identify: circles, ovals, squares, rectangles, hexagons, octagons, rhombus (please do NOT call it a diamond) and their corresponding attributes. For example, a square has 4 sides and 4 vertices, a circle has 0 sides and 0 vertices.. ELA: Letters M, Vocab: friend, problem HFW: the How can you help at home? Ask your student to find these letters/HFW (the) on a page when reading. Practice writing the letter then taping it on objects that start with the /m/ sound. Draw pictures of objects that start with M. Continue reinforcing days of the week and months.
